Only a few moments captured here—come be part of the many more to come.

Asian Culture Festival of Miami

For the past seven years, the Thai American Association of South Florida has poured extraordinary effort into making the Asian Culture Festival of Miami a success. Their involvement goes far beyond the visible performances and food tents—behind the scenes, they handle event planning, logistics, and countless details that most people never see.

Thanks to this dedication, the Festival has grown into the largest of its kind on the East Coast, drawing more than 15,000 attendees each year. Over two days, the event showcases nonstop performances, vibrant cultural displays, and a wide variety of food and community tents, creating a powerful space where Asian cultures can be celebrated and seen.

The Association not only sponsors the Festival as a major fundraising effort but also channels that support back into community needs throughout the year. Their hard work ensures that the Festival is more than just an event—it is a living platform for cultural pride, collaboration, and unity across communities.

Thai American Association of South Florida at Sawasdee Festival, Washington, D.C. (July 2023)

In July 2023, the Thai American Association of South Florida proudly joined the Sawasdee Festival in Washington, D.C. Members traveled by car and bus to take part in this significant celebration, showcasing Thai culture on a national stage. With their own tent and cultural performers, the South Florida delegation shared traditions, artistry, and community spirit alongside Thai associations from across the country. Their participation highlighted both local pride and the broader Thai American contribution to strengthening U.S.–Thai friendship through culture and exchange.

Supporting Miami-Dade County Department of Public Works – Asian Heritage Month

The Thai American Association of South Florida has long supported Asian Heritage Month celebrations in the Miami area with the Miami-Dade County Department of Public Works. Their performances of traditional Thai dance, highlighted by dazzling costumes and elegant choreography, bring cultural pride and vibrancy to the festivities. Through these contributions, the Association continues to showcase Thailand’s rich heritage while strengthening community connections across South Florida.

Supporting Wat Buddharangsi of Miami

The Thai American Association of South Florida has been a steadfast supporter of Wat Buddharangsi of Miami, contributing to the temple’s cultural and spiritual life. Members regularly perform at Thai festivals and holiday celebrations, including Thai New Year (Songkran) in April and Loy Krathong in November—a holiday often likened to Thanksgiving for its spirit of gratitude and togetherness.

Beyond performances, Association members are deeply engaged in temple life. Many join weekly meditation and Sunday offerings, while also supporting community gatherings where the temple’s food court and dance practices bring people together. Their presence not only enriches the festivities but also helps preserve and pass on Thai traditions to new generations in South Florida.

Homestead Community – Summer Backpack Giveaway
